LIVE, RECORDS, WAY BACK
Live shows your ground speed and heading while a record logs speed, heading, distance and calculated elevation. Way back points you back along the points you recorded. No map required, and private by default.
Ground speed, heading and elevation in large type, live from GPS. Start a record and every reading is logged behind it.
Ground speed, heading and elevation, large enough to read at a glance. A HUD for the dash and a compass when you need one.
Every record logs speed, heading, distance, time and calculated elevation, with markers for the places that matter. Export GPX, CSV or JSON whenever you want.
Retrace your own recorded points, one at a time, with an arrow and a distance. Not a map and not a navigation aid. Just the path you already took.
FIND YOUR WAY BACK
Way back walks you back along the points your record saved, one at a time, to where you started. On foot, on wheels or on the water. It stays off while you are driving so it cannot distract you.
PICK WHAT YOU ARE DOING
Choose an activity when you start a record and the readings that matter come first. The measurements are the same for all of them: GPS ground speed, heading and calculated elevation.
A big speed readout, a HUD for the windshield, and a record of every trip. Way back stays off so nothing distracts you at the wheel.
Distance, time and elevation for the daily loop or the long way home. Mark the spots worth remembering.
See your speed as you ride and your elevation when you are done. Every ride saved, private by default.
GPS speed in knots, course over ground and nautical miles. Mark the launch and find your way back to it. Carry a chart; Tylemetry is not one.
Speed, distance and moving time with large controls and scalable text. Compare the routes you know, trip after trip.
Distance, elevation gain and moving time, with markers for the trailhead and the turn-off. Way back brings you back along your own points.
Paragliders, ultralights and weekend flyers. See your GPS ground speed and heading, log them with calculated elevation, and look back over the flight. Not avionics and not for navigation.
SEVEN WAYS TO MOVE. ONE RECORDER.

GPS does not need a network. Record in the backcountry, on the water or in airplane mode and review it all later.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
What it measures, where it goes and what it is not.
GPS ground speed, heading and position, plus elevation calculated from GPS. From those it works out distance, time, averages, maximum speed and elevation gain and loss. It does not know posted speed limits and it does not include maps.
Nowhere you did not send it. Records stay on your phone by default, and there is no advertising. When you want a record somewhere else, export it as GPX, CSV or JSON. An optional online portal is on the way for the records you choose to sync. It is a separate service and stays optional.
$4.99, once. Full access to the mobile app without any limitations, for life. No subscription and no in-app purchases. The optional online portal that is on the way is a separate service.
Way back points you back along the points your record saved, one at a time, with an arrow and a distance. It only knows the path you took, not roads, water or closed trails, and conditions can change. It is not a map, not routing and not a certified navigation aid. It is turned off for Driving.
Tylemetry reads consumer phone GPS and shows what it sees, including accuracy and fix age. It is not a certified speed instrument, not avionics and not for navigation. Aviation is for recreational flying, a paraglider or ultralight pilot who wants an easy record of the course. It shows and logs GPS ground speed and heading with calculated elevation, and nothing more.
Tylemetry is available for Android on Google Play. An iOS version is on the way. Keep an eye here for the App Store release.
